I was going to try and fix all the problems and add enhancements, but I have now decided to write the script from the ground up and version it 2.0.

The scripts features will be made modular, so if you need borders and/or anti-aliasing then the script will load in the required modules. This should reduce load times when certain features are not needed .

Also curvyCorners 2.0 will also attempt to start rendering the corners while the page is loading. This differs from 1.3 because 1.3 rendered after the page had loaded and resulted in a jerking of the page .

If you have a feature request or improvements you think would be great in curvyCorners 2.0 the please let me know.
News :: What do your want from curvyCorners 1.3? http://www.curvycorners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=588#588 What fixes, features or changes would you like to see in the next version of curvyCorners?

I need your feedback, please note that the following will probably not make it into the next version :

Border Glow Effect

Drop Shadow

One of my main goals of the next version is make the script smaller and increase the performance. So I won't be adding the new features above as they would almost certainly add to the filesize and rendering speed.

I look forward to hearing from you. If you have any fixes or code improvments, that you would like for me to incorporate into the next version then let me know.
News :: Version 1.3 Coming Soon http://www.curvycorners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=482#482 Version 1.3 has now been cancelled. All features will be working but background-image support will be limited to fixed height/width DIVs with common corner radiuses (each corner has to have the same radius).

Release Time: 20:30 BST (GMT +1)
News :: curvyCorners 1.2.6 Update http://www.curvycorners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=180#180 The next version 1.2.6 is still delayed. I've just had no time to do it this week.
The only thing to do is fully implement background-image support. I have background images fully working if all corner radiuses as the same, but I’ve not yet got it correct when you have different radiuses .

If you would like 1.2.6 now PM me and I will send it to you.

New Features in 1.2.6:

New initialisation options. You can now pass more than one object to the curvyCorners object to be rounded. Also you can now specify a class name, all objects with that class applied, will get the corners rounded.

Background-image support. (partial)

Turn off Anti-Aliasing

autoPad option. This if set will automatically create an inner div and apply padding that you set to the outer DIV and move the content into it.

I will go more into these details when I release the update.
Release date: Hopefully this week, but no promisies.

If you have any questions then please reply to this topic.

Cameron.
News :: curvyServerCorners http://www.curvycorners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=162#162 Just had this idea so I thought I would post about it before I forget.

Idea is a new script that is basically a port of the JS code with some amendments, that instead of using the DOM to create the corner DIVS after the page has loaded, generate the same mark-up in PHP and/or other server-side language on the server just before the server sends the page.

Advantages
-------------

There would be no noticeable delay to the end-user when generating the corners as this would be done at the server.

It would be hugely quicker.

No JavaScript, this would satisfy some people.

Let me know what you think of the idea. If I get a positive reaction then I will start work on a prototype and see if its plausible.
