Educational Web Services is a provider or application development, project management, and web hosting services for the California State University System. These services are provides to all universities, colleges, departments, and auxiliaries through a no-bid sole-source contract opened to all affiliates of the CSU. The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) provides that no qualified individual with a disability be denied access to or participation in services, programs, and activities within the CSU. This act applies to virtually all aspects of campus activities, including online resources and information. CSU Executive Order 926, which went into effect on January 1, 2005, establishes the policy, specifies campus responsibilities, and offers supplemental guidance to ensure that the proper and integrated actions of each campus are effectively mobilized to comply with the policy and law.

The Web Authoring Resource Center (WARC) provides developers of Cal Poly Official Web sites with the information and tools necessary to plan and build a site that meets basic requirements for University Identity, Web Accessibility, Usability, and Aesthetics.
